I GAINED A POUND!!! WHAT??? How absolutely terrible is that??!! I am so pissed. But if I look back on some of the things that I ate yesterday, well, no kidding I gained a pound. I need to use this as motivation, not discouragement. And I need to make better choices and really think about what I am putting in to my mouth because it is showing up on the scale... and in my behind.
For breakfast today I had:
- 2 cups of black coffee with splenda: 0 WW points
- 1/2 cup of cottage cheese: 2 WW points
- Total for breakfast: 2 WW points / 23 WW points left for the day!
My girlfriend is in town visiting from Boston today, so we are going out to lunch. So I am going to have few calories in the morning and few calories at night. And best part, I already know what I am going to have for dinner, so I am putting those points in to the mix now, so I can make the best choices today.
For lunch, we went to a fabulous restaurant! I definitely enjoyed myself. I had a turkey BLT with a very small portion of french fries. They came out to about:
- Small french fry: 5 WW points
- 3 slices of bacon: 4 WW points
- 3 slices of turkey: 3 WW points
- lettuce: 0 WW points
- bread: 5 WW points
- Total for lunch out: 17 WW points / 1 WW point left after I incorporate dinner. I will probably bring an apple to split with Andrew for after the gym! Woo!
I also brought all of my workout clothes to work today so I can either hit the gym with Andrew or go for a hike. Either way, I need to exercise today! I had to work both jobs yesterday, so I not only "starve ate" last night, but didn't exercise. Today, I need to make up for that and take off this one pound that I gained. UGH! I MUST do this!
Andrew and I had a fantastic workout! He literally kicked my butt, but I needed it! We did a circuit type workout together. Combining a variety of exercises with speed and lots of reps. I know that I am going to be in pain tomorrow, but it's what I need to lose this pound that I gained and continue with my goal of losing 10 pounds this month. I am still motivated and know that I can do this!
For dinner today I am having:
- Salmon with salt and pepper: 5 WW points
- Broccoli, steamed: 0 WW points
- Total for dinner: 5 WW points / 18 WW points left for the day
