30 Day Fit Challenge: Day 19

It's Day 19 and I am still only down 4 pounds! UGH! I am eating right and exercising but still not losing the weight. But I am still on board with this and still determined. My co-worker from Tucson was up here yesterday and we decided that we are going to help one another. Her name is Courtney too and she wants to lose about as much weight as I do. It always helps to have a friend on board with your diet and fitness regime. Too bad she lives in Tucson! Haha.  We decided that we are going to BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) each other on our success and when we want to eat something bad. Good thing for constant communication!

 

Courtney encouraged me to stop drinking coffee and to drink tea instead. I have heard this before, but if it will help with my weight loss goals, I will do it! Today for breakfast, I had:

  • 2 egg whites: 1 WW point
  • 2 cups of green tea: 0 points
  • Total for breakfast: 1 WW point / 24 WW points left for the day

I've been in meetings all morning (story of my life!) so I am eating in spurts at my desk. What I am planning on eating for lunch is:

  • 1/2 cup of cottage cheese: 2 WW points
  • 1 chicken breast: 3 WW points
  • Tomatoes: 0 WW points
  • 3 peanut butter balls: 2 WW points
  • Total for lunch: 7 WW points / 17 WW points left for the day!

It has been a long day and it's only 2:30! I am ready to bust on out of here and go home and nap. Too bad I can't do that. I am going to happy hour with some friends after work and then I am headed to the gym for some cardio.

 

I'm having a snack now, and guess I should go ahead and calculate in the beer that I'm going to have. I'm going to have some almonds before I leave to so I stay full and don't snack on chips. My snacks today include:

  • 100 calorie popcorn: 1 WW points
  • 11 almonds: 2 WW points
  • 1 beer: 2 WW points
  • Total snacks: 5 WW points / 12 WW points left for dinner!

I am going to make dinner for us tonight, so I am aiming at something healthy! :)
